Highlights
Beach and woodland
A long strip of beach at Towan. Walking trails through the woods and along Froe Creek. Concession café, toilets, parking and holiday cottages.
Bohortha
Between Porth and St Anthony Head is the hamlet of Bohortha. Close to Place passenger ferry to visit St Mawes on one side and views over Porthbeor beach through the fields on the other side. Two holiday cottages here.
Percuil
Footpaths lead from Percuil round Pelyn Creek and on to Tregassick Farm, before heading back down past Polingey Creek and Percuil River.
St Mawes
The South West Coast Path leads through land we care for at Newton Cliff and by St Just Pool on the western coast of the Roseland peninsula.
Messack Woods
Footpaths weave around Messack Farm and woodland, with views of the Carrick Roads and the quietness of St Just Creek.

About Porth
On the coast path between Portscatho and St Anthony Head on the Roseland Porth has lots to offer those seeking an outdoor do-it-yourself adventure.
The South West Coast Path goes through here and there are many other paths leading around this part of the penisula, through woods, along the creek and by farmland. Families love the long stretch of beach and people marvel at how it changes with the seasons and storms. Once a very quiet corner of Cornwall the area can now get very busy on hot summer days and we ask drivers to park with care and respect our neighbours.
There is evidence that Porth has been a farming settlement for at least 700 years. The current nineteenth century buildings are now converted into tenanted and holiday cottages with a café (concession) and toilets over the lane in the old courtyard.
