Stitching Christmas together: crochet craft workshops
Can you help us with Greenway's Big Christmas Stitch Up? Come along to lend a helping hand with a crochet workshop.
- Booking essential
We've got an ambitious challenge this festive season to crochet a 7ft Christmas tree, made from over 400 individual granny squares.
We're almost halfway there but need your help to finish it in time for Christmas. Come along to a social crafting workshop with likeminded crocheters. Feel free to bring your own materials, extra hooks and wool will be available.
If you've never crocheted before and fancy giving it a go, one of the Crafting Volunteers will be on hand to show you and get you started. If you've already picked up a pack from Greenway, you're very welcome to come and drop them back to us during the session.
There'll be hot drinks and mince pies provided to keep you going while we stitch Christmas together.
As this drop in takes place outside of normal opening hours, the house will be closed. Admission charges do not apply and there is no need to book parking. The workshop will take place upstairs in the Barn Café.
