Cogden Beach - a free guided walk through historic landscape with WW11 defences
Take a guided walk around Cogden with our National Trust archaeologists and learn about key historical events of the area.
- Booking essential
- Free event
The walk is approximately 2km but expect to take around 90-120 minutes. There are some uphill climbs but otherwise this is a relatively simple walk.
Our National Trust archaeology volunteers will show you important landmarks linked to WW2 but will also discuss significant points of interest.
We hope to cover around 4000 years of history in a short period of time by discussing things we can see in the landscape.
PLEASE NOTE: this walk departs from Cogden beach and not Hive Beach.
