Are you interested in joining the volunteering team at Woodchester Park or as a Dog Ambassador for the Stroud Commons? Come along to a drop-in to learn about the many volunteering opportunities available.

There are many ways to get involved at Woodchester Park or the commons, whether you are interested in developing some new skills or want to help care for these sites and their visitors.
These drop-in sessions will be a chance for you hear about all of the opportunities on offer and to meet some of the different volunteer managers so you can ask them any questions you might have.
Volunteering Opportunities at Woodchester Park
- Welcome Volunteers - play a vital role in creating a warm and memorable first impression for every visitor.
- Walking Volunteers - This is a brand new role helping to design and lead a regular group walk at Woodchester Park. If you love walking and getting others out into nature then come and learn more about being a walking volunteer.
- Events Volunteers - Help to design, make and run an exciting program of events to give visitors unique experiences.
- Trust 10 Assistants - If you love trail running or encouraging people to exercise in nature then this role is for you.
- Storytelling Volunteers - help create magical moments for young visitors by reading aloud to under-5s every Monday morning.
Volunteering Opportunity on the Stroud Commons
- Dog Ambassador - Love dogs and nature? Help protect wildlife while out walking your dog! Based at Minchinhampton and Rodborough Common.

Tinkley Gate Carpark has accessible parking spaces where blue badge holders park for free and a drop-off zone in front of the cafe front door. The cafe has a power assisted front door and an accessible toilet.
