May Half Term: Beautiful Butterflies
Join us for a half term bursting with butterfly fun: from paper crafts and searching the gardens, to exploring the special cabinets of Ham House.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
This May half term, take inspiration from the butterflies decorating Ham’s East-Asian cabinets. Explore these beautiful pieces and spot the colourful origami butterflies hidden throughout the house.
Get creative in the Servants’ Dining Room, where you can try your hand at butterfly-themed origami or draw your own butterfly. In the Garden Room, enjoy butterfly mask-making and colouring activities.
Head outside and see what you can spot - our gardens are home to a variety of beautiful British butterflies. As you explore, look out for boards placed beside their favourite plants to help you identify each species.
The house will be open 11.30am–3.30pm (last entry 3pm).
