Join us this week to celebrate the Great Big Green Week which is the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and support nature recovery.
At Ham House and Garden, we will be running volunteer-led Garden History tours throughout the week, with a special focus on the green initiatives our garden teams work on.
For little ones there will be a chance to get creative in the Garden Room where there will be colouring in and crayon rubbings. We will also have a seasonal spotter to explore the gardens.
You might enjoy perusing our beautiful array of peat-free plants which are great for pollinators. or take look at our popular recycled rugs and other eco-friendly products available in the gift shop.
Remember to bring your own cup for the café and you'll receive a small discount on hot drinks as a thank you for doing so. Enjoy your tea with our flapjack which has recently changed to include wild farmed flour. Ham House also offers visitors our used coffee grounds for visitor to take home for your garden, allotment or balcony.
NB: Garden History Tours are subject to volunteer availability. They are advertised on entry to the property, where you can reserve your spot with our Visitor Reception.
