'We’re Going on a Bear Hunt', is coming to Cliveden name this spring. The award-winning animation, based on the much-loved picture book, will be brought to life through a series of interactive installations. Children’s drop‑in crafting sessions
Join us in the Doll’s House Café, tucked behind the Water Garden, for a series of relaxed children’s crafting sessions inspired by We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
Little ones can make their own bear masks and take part in collaborative crafts that build the story scene by scene. Each week focuses on a different part of the tale, so there’s always something new to discover.
Drop‑in sessions run from 10am–12pm on the following dates: • Monday 1 June • Monday 8 June • Monday 15 June • Monday 22 June • Monday 29 June
We’re kindly asking for a suggested donation of £2. Every donation helps us continue caring for Cliveden. Please note that all crafting sessions are subject to volunteer availability, head to the Information Centre upon arrival for directions.

- Accessibility
The trail take place on hard paths, with some uneven surfaces, and gentle changes in terrain. Please ask for an accessible map from the Information Centre on arrival.
- Meeting point
For the trail, meet at the Information Centre to collect your trail map. For the crafting sessions, meet at the Doll’s House Café (at the back of the Water garden).

The trail is outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

The trail is free, however standard admission applies.

Head to the Conservatory café at Cliveden and join a ‘Natter & Chatter’ session from 10am – 12pm. Open to all visitor (standard admission applies).
Garden tours at Cliveden
Step into the quieter corners of the gardens on a relaxed, gardener led tour running throughout the season from 2 April – 24 September, every Thursday at 2pm. Please note: There will be no garden tour on Thursday 11 June due to the weather.
