Join us every Thursday in August for special extended opening hours, with the gardens remaining open until 8pm. Spend a relaxing summer evening surrounded by beautiful garden views, enjoy live music on Green Court, and treat yourself to refreshments from Tenant’s Hall.
Whether you're taking an after-work stroll, meeting friends and family, or simply looking for a peaceful place to watch the sun go down, our Thursday evening openings offer the perfect way to make the most of the season.
Come and experience the gardens in a whole new light and enjoy the atmosphere of a summer evening with us.
Admission: National Trust members enter free. £6.50 admission applies for non-members.
Please note- extended opening hours apply to the Gardens only. The Watermill, River Gardens and Castle will be closed from 4pm.

Routes are steep and feature numerous steps, slopes and uneven surfaces. There are designated Blue Badge parking in the main car park. We have powered mobility vehicles (Trampers) available for hire. Please call 01643 821314 to hire. We will also have a courtesy vehicle running throughout the evening.
