Step back in time and watch sword-fighting knights battle it out at Dunster Castle.

Witness the skill of medieval combat as Exmoor HEMA bring history to life with authentic techniques, armour and weaponry.

The basics

Accessibility

Green Court is wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Trampers are available to hire for the morning or afternoon. Courtesy bus with wheelchair lift also available to bring visitors up to Green Court

Meeting point

The sword-fighting will be based on Green Court, outside the front of the castle.
