Emma Rutherford runs The Limner Company, a group of specialists who research and sell portrait miniatures. She also works as Honorary Advisor on Portrait Miniatures to the National Trust. Her talk will reveal the secrets that portrait miniatures hold and how they were worn with some of the opulent costumes on display in the current exhibition.

The house can be cold, so please dress appropriately.
- Accessibility
A volunteer-run shuttle bus service runs from the visitor welcome area to the house entrance, subject to availability. The entrance to the house is step-free and wheelchair accessible. Toilet facilities (including an accessible toilet and changing facilities) are available on site.

No dogs allowed inside the house except for assistance dogs. Please bring proof of tickets on the day. The café will be open serving light refreshments
