- From Bangor / A55, take A5 towards Bethesda. Continue through Bethesda to Nant Ffrancon until you reach Llyn Ogwen (lake) on the left. About Ogwen Cottage
Ogwen Cottage is nestled between the dramatic Carneddau and Glyderau mountain ranges, at the starting point for numerous walking routes in the area. It includes a base for our local Ranger team. This iconic building has long been associated with mountaineering and adventure, a tradition we’re maintaining by providing outdoor learning experiences on site in partnership with The Outward Bound Trust.
