Join local artist Lucy Caddel for a morning of outdoor painting in the beautiful surroundings of Powis Castle and Garden.
Working en plein air, you'll take inspiration from the historic castle, colourful ornamental gardens and iconic terraces, with their tropical planting, sculptural topiary and far-reaching views across the valley. Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced artist, these relaxed sessions offer the chance to slow down, observe and get creative in a unique setting.
Workshops take place from 10am–1pm and cost £40 per person including entry to the garden, use of easels and tables, with all watercolour and gouache materials provided.
Please bring a folding or camping chair, suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Sessions will go ahead in most weather conditions and will only be cancelled in the event of extreme weather and site closure.
