Group bookings at Nunnington Hall

Nunnington welcomes groups of at least 15 people, whether National Trust members or not, who can pay in one transaction for the visit. To qualify for the group offer, you must book in advance.

Available all year round

Groups can be accomodated all year round, including during Christmas opening. Please make sure you have checked the opening times  for the days you are interested in, as they do vary over the year. 

Space for two coaches only

Please note that pre-booking your coach visit is essential. Failure to pre-book your visit may result in your coach being turned away if Nunnington is at maximum capacity.

Things to see and do during your group visit

Nunnington can be enjoyed all year round, with different elements at their best at different times. For garden lovers late spring to autumn is optimum, for art check out the changing programme of exhibitions and history is available everyday we're open.

  • Two wheelchairs are available for hire, free of charge (booking essential).

Who is eligible for free entry? 

Registered tourist board guides (on production of a valid badge), coach drivers and tour leaders escorting groups of 15 or more. National Trust members also receive free entry, so it is at your discretion whether to refund the entrance fee to members if you have included it in your package – this is not refunded by the National Trust. 

Members must bring their current membership cards with them to avoid paying the full group rate. If any of your group would like to join the National Trust please direct them to our Membership page or call 0344 800 1895.

Free familiarisation visits for group leaders 

If you're planning a group visit you can request our free Travel Trade Pass and you and a friend or colleague will gain free entry to over 300 of our places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for 12 months. Nunnington Hall hosts a programming of changing exhibitions throughout the year. Recently we have welcomed established artists, photographers, illustrators and sculptors alongside new artists and community groups to display their work in the gallery.

The Tea Room at Nunnington Hall 

Make a day of it and refuel in the Tea Room, located within the historic house with views across the garden, or head to the walled Tea Garden to relax on the riverbank. Treat yourself to a delicious scone, tasty soup or freshly prepared lunch.
