Throughout January and February in 2017, we held a special exhibition in the morning room allowing visitors to walk around our pictures, having a 360 degree view of them, and seeing the backs of the frames.
Discovering, notes from the artists; labels from exhibitions; art dealers stamps; and information written by Rosalie and Geoffrey Mander and the National Trust about how the art works came to be at Wightwick.
Inspired by ongoing research into the history of our collection the exhibition will evolve, so more paintings, information and videos will be added over the next few months as we uncover more fascinating stories.
