The Pre-Raphaelites Exposed!

See parts of the Pre-Raphaelite artists you've never seen before...as we open open our drawers and our stores to display some rarely seen items.

A view of the Drawing Room with Jacobean-style plaster ceiling at Wightwick Manor

During the last week in November our house team will bring out special items normally in secure storage. This special archive material and artist sketchbooks will give you a new insight into the work of the Pre-Raphaelite artists associated with Wightwick Manor.

On the 19&20 of November see early sketches by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, founder of the Pre-Raphaelite movement.

21&23 November work by Rossetti's wife and muse Lizzie Siddal

24&25 November sketchbooks and letters by Edward Burne-Jones

26 & 27 November sketches, letters and sketchbooks by William & Evelyn De Morgan

No special booking is required and the items will be on display as part of your normal visit to the Manor.
