Autumn colour at Winkworth Arboretum, Surrey

Winkworth Autumn-ometer 

Mid October update: Winkworth's trees have burst into vibrant colour, creating bright splashes of colour across the landscape. We're expecting the autumn colour display to last well into November. Don't forget to book your ticket via the What's On section below and check out our social media pages for updates about autumn colour as the season progresses.

Please book ahead before visiting 

The arboretum and car park at Winkworth have reopened and you’ll need to book your tickets by 3pm the day ​before your visit. Members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking. We'll be releasing ​tickets every Friday.​ Please note we’ll be turning people away who arrive and haven't booked. ​We're looking forward to welcoming you back.

October half term at Winkworth 

There's a chill in the air, crispy leaves underfoot and the arboretum has burst into colour, with golden, orange and red leaves all over. It's the prefect time for outdoor adventures, just don't forget to wrap up warm!

The Tree Adventure at Winkworth Arboretum

Tree Adventure 

Made made using oak trees from the Arboretum and complete with a climbing wall, fireman's pole, rope tunnel and ladders, the Tree Adventure is the perfect way for children to let off some steam.

Tea-room reopening  

Our tea-room has reopened and will initially be serving a limited range of takeaway hot and cold drinks and some light snacks. We’ve introduced new safety measures including closure of our seating areas, screens at our till and collection points, and waymarked routes. We’ll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you back and know that you will support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.
