Group visits

Group visit

We welcome groups including schools at Antony and look forward to accommodating your needs and making your visit special. Whether you're an expert garden group who want something a bit specialist or a school looking for a self-facilitated experience, we can help you plan your day.

How to spend an afternoon

Spend an afternoon with your group looking around a still lived-in family home full of personal treasures collected over generations. Today, the house is still home to the Carew Pole family who have lived on this site for over six hundred years and the house has all the personal touches of a loved and lived in home.

The garden is full of suprises including outdoor sculpture, sweeping Repton views, quirky topiary, a formal summer garden and year round displays of blooms from magnolias and rhododendrons in the spring to wisteria, white roses and lavender in the summer. The show of colour continues into the autumn when the 'hero' trees in the garden are aflame.

Something a little extra

To treat your group to something special you can pre-book a garden tour led by a gardener and take advantage of their expert knowledge including a Q&A session.

Schools

Get in touch and find out more about how we can welcome your school. There is a den building area at the bottom of the garden that can be pre-booked for a self-led forest school or if you would like to have a general look around the house and garden you can ask us about that too. There is also an Education Room that can be pre-booked for your group.

If you are interested in making a group booking or would like to enquire further please call 01752 812 191 (option 0) or email us at antony@nationaltrust.org.uk
