Cotehele Quay Lodge Cottage is full of quirks and original features, and will soon be a comfortable little holiday cottage. Its portico looks down to the Tamar River, which bustled with local industry in the 19th century. Now it’s a great place for a walk, a cream tea, and to find out more about the history of the Cotehele estate. It’s all in walking distance: the atmospheric Tudor house, acres of gardens and orchards, and miles of footpaths and walking trails. Cotehele Mill is on the other side of a small, wooded valley. You have free entry here and at all National Trust places during your stay.
In 2023, we have been working to restore Cotehele Quay Lodge Cottage ready for first guests this autumn. The money you spend on your holiday helps us preserve and bring new life to special places like this.
Cotehele Quay Lodge Cottage is across from the Malt House (sleeps six) and a 15-minute walk from Cotehele Dairy Cottage (sleeps six).
