Spring in the garden at Antony
The Repton designed landscape at Antony is adorned with daffodils come spring. Sweeping views look out to the river Lynher and a formal garden full of surprises plays host to a multitude of blooms.
There are magnolias heavy laden with blooms located at various points around the garden. You can see them by the Japanese pond & the Mandalay bell is framed by magnolia trees of different sizes.
Fan trained pears grow along the outside of the walled garden, which is actually the old kitchen garden wall. They are in full bloom at this time of year.
These bright yellow flowers burst onto the scene during early spring, offerring a welcome blast of colour after the grey winter months. The Repton views are at their most dazzling when the daffodils are in flower.
