Belton's top spring 50 things activities
There’s lots of the National Trust’s 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ activities to tick off the list on your next visit to Belton. 33 in fact!
Pick up a copy of the #50things booklet from Belton’s Discovery Centre or Visitor Reception to keep track of how many activities you complete.
Here are Belton’s top five #50things activities to try out this spring:
1. Fly a kite:
When there's a bit of wind in the air, it's the perfect time to tick off No.7 from the 50 things challenges. So, if you haven't flown a kite before, what are you waiting for? Join us for Belton’s kite flying weekend to create and fly your very own kite, or bring your own and join in the fun (#7).
When it comes to creating wild art, the only limit is your imagination. What will you use, and how? There's so much to choose from in the natural world, but please make sure you're not making your art from another creature's home! (#18). Join us for wild art weekend to be inspired by Belton's woodland.
Just one blade of grass can create the most amazing sound when you put it between your thumbs and blow - have you tried it yet? (#25).
4. Hunt for bugs:
Find all sorts of creepy crawlies lurking at Belton and you'll soon be ticking another 50 things challenge off your list (#31).
