Half term fun at Belton this May
As the days get warmer and evenings become longer, May half term is the perfect time to head outdoors and get closer to nature. There’s lots to do inside and out: get creative in the Discovery Centre, trek the parkland to explore Belton’s wildlife, or let off steam in Lincolnshire’s biggest outdoor adventure playground.
Here are some great ways to explore Belton with the family this half term.
Family Creative Women trail
Sat. 25 May - Sun. 2 June, 9.30am - 4.30pm. £2 per trail.
Be inspired by Belton's Creative Women and let this season's trails bring out the artist in you. This year we've been inspired by Belton's Creative Women and our May trails are all about art, botany and sculpture. Follow the trails through the gardens to see Belton in a new way and express your artistic side! Normal admission applies.
Half term fun in the Discovery Centre
Sat. 25 May - Sun. 2 June, 11am - 4.30pm weekdays and 12.30pm - 4.30pm at weekends.*
This half term come along to discover the more about Nina Cust, one of Belton’s Creative Women, with activities and crafts for all the family to enjoy. Small charges may apply.
Pick up an Art Adventure scrapbook (£4.00) to explore Belton’s collections and work towards your Discover Arts Award or borrow a Ranger Pack to explore the gardens.

Wild art weekend.

Join us for a weekend of outdoor wild art. Be inspired by Belton's woodland and create your own work of art out of natural materials.
Wed. 29 May. 11am - 12 noon. £3 per child.
Become a detective and search for clues that tell us more about the history of Belton’s gardens on a special family tour. Spaces are limited, so pre-booking is essential. To book spaces, please book online or call 0344 249 1895.
Family house tour
Thurs. 30 May, 11am - 12noon. £3 per child.
This tour has been specially designed for families with children aged five years and over in mind. Free tour with whole property admission. There are limited tickets available, so pre-booking is essential. To book spaces, please book online or call 0344 249 1895.
Friday #50things challenge
Fri. 31 May, 11am - 4pm.*
#13 Make a mud creation. Join us to get creative, messy and muddy and make some wild art to help free Belton’s tree spirits. Give your tree spirit a name, write a story about them and have a photo with your dryad. Meet at the south side of the outdoor adventure playground.
Paint the garden
Sun. 2 June, 11am - 4pm.*
Recreate the beauty of Belton’s gardens in paint, pencil or crayon. All materials supplied.
