Let nature and wildlife be your inspiration this autumn as you get creative with a variety of seasonal activities for all the family.

Autumnal decorations

Daily until 19 November, 10am - 4.30pm.

Welcome in the new season by creating autumnal wreaths to bring home or help to build Belton’s seasonal garland in the gardens. Collect fallen leaves on the East Lawn and handmake your very own decorations with all the colours of the season.

Equipment available from the East Lawn.

Activity sheets

Daily until 19 November, 10am - 4.30pm.

There is plenty to see and do during autumn, as the season brings in new wildlife to spot and colours to admire. Collect activity sheets from Visitor Reception and go on a nature spotting adventure or create a bark rubbing masterpiece.

Ephemeral arts

Daily until 19 November, 10am - 4.30pm.

Take inspiration from Belton to create art from nature that returns to nature. We’d love you to share your creations with us before they disappear! @BeltonHouseNT #EphemeralBelton.

Attention all passengers, head to the outdoor adventure playground for a ride on Belton's miniature train, £1.50 per seat.

Autumn is a magical time for the wildlife at Belton, try your hand at bird-watching and keep your eyes peeled to spot the deer rut. Make sure to maintain a good distance from the deer and keep dogs on a short lead.

Pop into the cafe before you leave to warm up with a hot chocolate or pick up a treat for yourself in the gift shop.
