Meet & Greet volunteers on the Brecon Beacons

If you’re looking for a chance to meet new people, Meet and Greet volunteers do just that.

Situated at Pont ar Daf, the main access point onto the central Beacons, you’ll be providing a warm, sunny welcome even on the rainiest day. As an ambassador for the National Trust your commitment to our cause and helping spread our conservation message with others is invaluable to us.

Using your wealth of knowledge and sharing your first-hand experiences of the area, you’ll be helping to enhance the visitor’s journey and you may be asked a question or two about local buses or attractions. With a thorough induction and ongoing training, you’ll also increase your own knowledge of this special place, and being part of our Brecon Beacons and Monmouthshire team is a great way to learn new things.

We want everyone who visits the central Beacons to thoroughly enjoy their experience and the Meet and Greet volunteers are a key part of making that happen. If you’re interested and want to find out more, check out our role profile and complete the application form.
