This walk takes you through pastures in Nidderdale with beautiful panoramic views across the dale and beyond. You might see flashes of blue as kingfisher fly past and brown trout in the river as you walk along the river path.
The dramatic natural landscape at our special place makes it great for rock climbing. Scramble through tight spaces as you enjoy 'weaseling' or build up your confidence by 'bouldering' and exploring the lower part of the rock above a crash mat.
Brimham Rocks is home to three rare species of heather including ling, bell and cross-leaved heath. These plants have helped give Brimham its SSSI status, meaning it is a site of special scientific interest and the work done here to preserve the moorland habitat is of world-wide importance.
