Wildlife spotters can follow waymarked routes through a wealth of diff erent habitats from the sheltered lagoon and sweeping shorelines, to woodlands and heathland. As you wander, keep an eye out for the famous red squirrel.

Red squirrel walks

Autumn is a great time to spot red squirrels on Brownsea Island as they scurry around the woodland floor hiding food for the winter. Guided red squirrel walks run twice a day between Monday 24 September to Friday 19 October. Family red squirrel walks run throughout the October half term.
