Calke Unlocked: a tour with a twist
Museum tours not for you? Want to have a little fun with history instead? Introducing Calke Unlocked – a new kind of tour at Calke Abbey. Play games, take selfies, and see Calke in a whole new light.
Be one of the first to experience a high-energy, interactive adventure at Calke. We’ll share some of Calke’s quirky secrets, have a cheeky peek in dark corners, and show you some stuff you never knew existed. You might even learn a few things along the way.
We’ll bring the fun – you bring a smartphone or tablet, bags of energy and a little sense of humour.
Count me in
Don’t miss out! Calke Unlocked is pretty exclusive – book your place using the link at the bottom of this page (after the small print). Tours are running on select dates through June and July, on weekdays and weekends, so there are plenty of days to choose from.
All booked in? Meet us outside the Ticket Office for the start of your tour. Our awesome tour guides, Anna and Michelle, will be the ones waving madly.

We’ll be delving into some of the more unconventional moments in Calke’s history – not suitable for kids under 14! Due the slightly wonky nature of the house, unfortunately this tour isn’t suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility, and only assistance dogs can come along.
Normal admission charges apply and you’ll need a house ticket for the tour. Head over to the home page for more info on prices.
Join the conversation over on Twitter or Instagram, you can find us @NTCalkeAbbey – we want to see what you get up to at Calke Unlocked.
