Make the most of winter at Charlecote Park

Frosted gates in winter at Charlecote Park with blue sky

Blow away the cobwebs with a winter walk through the parkland - wrap up warm and wear your wellies or strong boots that you don't mind getting muddy. Nature has plenty to offer at this time of year and it's always good to get away from the central heating for a little while.

Our Christmas offer runs until 5 January.

Winter walking

The grounds are open every day from Boxing Day. Pick up our Winter Walks loyalty card from the beginning of January - turn your good intentions for more exercise into a welcome free bacon or sausage bap.

Mindful Mondays begin from 6 January with a mindful walk or activity every first Monday of each month.

Enjoy stunning views of the house and gatehouse at Charlecote from a winter walk in the parkland

The house this winter

The house remains open and decorated for Christmas until Sunday 5 January - we're keeping everything going until traditional Twelfth Night this year. You can do our Great Jewel Theft Trail until 5 January too.

The house is then closed until 15 February for the winter deep clean.

Our lovely volunteers contributed 42,254 hours to Charlecote last year and we couldn't manage without them. Join our friendly team and share your love of Charlecote with our visitors.

We'll be recruiting more volunteers as soon as we are able to, look out for our next Open Day.
