A mug of hot chocolate, a slice of Victoria sponge, a lovely cup of tea, or a delicious one-pot meal - what will make your day?
The Orangery offers hot food, snacks and drinks, with seating indoors and outside too.
We use our own award-winning venison, lamb and honey in our recipes and seasonal ingredients like mulberries and apples from the parkland too. The National Trust scone blogger loves our scones.
We always have gluten-free and vegetarian options. Please ask for more information if you have dietary requirements.
You're always welcome to bring your own food for babies.
School holidays and sunny weekends
On sunny weekends and Bank Holidays we'll open the tea garden, with outdoor seating, for snacks, hot drinks and scooped Spot Loggins ice-cream.
Busy days can lead to queues in our little tea-room – why not bring a picnic instead to enjoy at the picnic benches by the river in the parkland all year round. Watch the wildlife and make the most of our beautiful scenery with your sandwiches.
We are working to improve and enlarge our Food and Beverage facilities with our new Wood Yard Cafe due to open this year.
