Every tea, coffee or slice of cake you enjoy in the Orangery helps us fund the conservation of all the things you love in the house and around the parkland and gardens.

Breakfast baps (bacon or sausage) served from 9am to 11.45am.
Hot meals from midday until 2.30pm (3pm in school holidays).
Soup, one pot, cakes and hot drinks available all day.
Book ahead for afternoon tea in the Orangery. It's perfect for Mothering Sunday, a birthday - or any day you want to be special.

School holidays and sunny weekends
On busy sunny days and Bank Holidays we'll open the tea garden too, with outdoor seating, for snacks, hot drinks and scooped Bennetts ice-cream.
Busy days can lead to queues – you are always welcome to bring a picnic instead to enjoy at the benches by the river in the parkland all year round. Why not pop in to the Wood Yard café when you arrive and pick up everything you need for later?
