When you arrive
When you arrive at Claremont, you'll be greeted by our welcome team. You'll need to have your tickets to hand when you arrive to show staff through the car window. National Trust members will also need to show their membership card
If you’re more than 10 minutes late for your arrival slot then entry will be at the discretion of the property team.
We ask that visitors stay for a maximum of 2 hours. This is to help us manage numbers on site so we can ensure a safe visit for everyone.
Staying safe
To help keep everyone safe, please follow social distancing and government guidance when you visit. And look out for signs while you’re here which will explain any changes to how you can access different parts of the site.
If you’re showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus, or if you've been in contact with anyone that has the virus in the last 14 days, please don’t visit.

Our toilets are open as usual and are being cleaned regularly.
Please note, our cafe is completely closed at this time- we won't be serving takeaway food and drinks.

Dogs on short leads are allowed in the garden from 1 October to 30 April.

Visiting this spring
In England and Northern Ireland, our gardens, parks and countryside remain open for local people to exercise. Shops, houses and other indoor areas are closed, and cafés are takeaway only. The safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors from the nearby community remains our priority and we urge you to book your visits in advance and stay local. All places in Wales are currently closed. Please check the property webpage before you travel.
