Guided walk: The garden of Charlotte and Leopold 

In the nineteenth century, Claremont was the home to the Prince Regent's daughter, Princess Charlotte, who was Britain's heir apparent. In the 200th year since her tragic and untimely death, join us on 23 August for a guided walk all about Charlotte's story and the marks she and her husband left on the estate.

Claremont Landscape Garden, Surrey

Tuesday Tree Walks 

Once a month on a Tuesday, join our friendly volunteer guide Hilary on a free walk to learn all about the surprisingly diverse collection of trees on the estate. A chance to look more closely at cedars, chestnuts and camellias that have witnessed all of Claremont's 300-year history. Tours begin at 11am and last 1.5 hours, and there's no need to book.

History tours 

On selected Saturdays and Sundays between April and October, our knowledgeable guides provide free tours of the garden. Follow the twists and turns of Claremont's storied past, from the Duke of Newcastle and Queen Victoria to the sad decline and later restoration of the estate. Tours begin at 2pm and last 1.5 hours, and there's no need to book.
