Join us for an Easter adventure in nature at Cliveden. Discover our family-friendly trail with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate egg or allergen-free alternative at the end.
Easter adventures in nature
Our Easter trail runs from 9-22 April 2022, between 10am and 3.30pm, with last entry at 3pm and costs £3 per child, so come and explore the formal gardens at Cliveden.
At the start of your Easter adventures in nature trail, pick up your activity pack to find the bespoke trail you’re going to follow. Find and complete the 10 nature-inspired activities that are hiding along the way. Shake like a squirrel, Listen to nature's orchestra and Build a bird's nest are just some of the activities you can experience at Cliveden. Finish the trail and collect your Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg or an allergen-free alternative at the end (where available).
Before visiting, please check local and national government guidance on travelling.
Availability update
We've loved welcoming you on our Easter adventures in nature trail. Unfortunately we've no more supplies for the weekend and the last day of the paid trail with the chocolate egg will be Friday 22 April. You can still take part in the trail for free on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April and our cafe and shop will be open for you to treat yourself afterwards. If you'd like to do the trail over the weekend, pick up a trail sheet and a pencil from the A-frame outside the Info Centre in the Walled Garden Main Visitor Car Park.
Practical Information
Pick up your trail guide at the Event Tent outside the Info Centre in the Walled Garden Car Park. Follow the trail on your adventure through Cliveden's grounds and collect your prize at the end.
There are toilets at two points along the trail route - in the Gas Yard by the Walled Garden and also at the Conservatory Cafe a third of the way along the trail route.
Dogs are welcome to enjoy the trail with you.
Head to the Kiosk in the Walled Garden for a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks.
The trail is accessible for buggies and wheelchairs and there is a shorter route marked on the trail sheet with an orange dotted line for littler legs.
Please note that normal admission prices to enter the estate apply.

Busy days at Cliveden
During peak times, such as half-term, sunny Sundays and Bank Holidays, we encounter a high number of visitors to the site. Read our top tips to ensure that your day is filled with nothing but fun.
Pack a picnic (...and a bin bag!)
On busy days, such as Easter weekend, the queues can soon build up in our food outlets, so skip the queue and bring your own food and drink from home. There are many grassy areas around the estate for you to set down a woolly rug on, or picnic tables for you to dine off. If you bring your own bin bag you'll help keep the estate clean and green, just the way we like it!
