Here's just a few of the '50 Things' you could get up to during your visit to Clumber Park this autumn to get you started:
1. Climb a tree
With plenty of ancient trees to choose from in our woodland, climbing a tree is made easy at Clumber Park. Winter is perfect for this, when there are no leaves to get in your way!
24. Go on a walk bare foot
The mornings are a great time to walk bare foot in the Walled Kitchen Garden grass whilst the dew is still on the ground - if you can stand the cold!
25. Join nature's band
As the sounds of nature come alive find our Leaping Bar natural play area near the main visitor car park to enjoy a jive.
30. Go on a scavenger hunt
Gather your friends for a scavenger hunt in the wild. Just like animals, you’ll need to have your wits about you as you seek out nature’s treasures for survival.
31. Hunt for bugs
It may be winter, but you never know what may be hiding under the rocks and leaves to keep warm in the garden, or crawling up the fruit trees in the Walled Kitchen Garden. Watch out for creepy crawlies and see how many you can find and identify.
33. Go cloud watching
There's lots you can learn from looking at the clouds. Choose a comfortable spot on a summer's day, lie back and start watching.
There are so many adventures to go on here at Clumber, but these may get you started.
