50 things to do before you're 11 3/4 at Clumber Park

50 things to do before youre 11 3/4

Continue your 50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾ adventure today. Winter is here, but there's still nothing like spending time outside as a family exploring together.

Join us for 50 Things to do before 11¾

Here's a list of some of the 50 Things to do before you're 11¾ you could get up to during your visit to Clumber Park this autumn:

1. Climb a tree

With plenty of ancient trees to choose from in our woodland, climbing a tree is made easy at Clumber Park. Winter is perfect for this, when there are no leaves to get in your way!

15. Play in the snow

This is an activity made for the winter, simply wait for it to snow, pop your coat on and head out into the white stuff. Whether it’s sledging, snowball fights, snow-angel making or snowman-building that you fancy, you’ll be busy for ages.

24. Go on a walk bare foot

The mornings are a great time to walk bare foot in the Walled Kitchen Garden grass whilst the dew is still on the ground - if you can stand the cold!

25. Make a grass trumpet

What noises can you make from a piece of grass? Could you make an orchestra together? Give it a go in the Walled Kitchen Garden.

31. Hunt for bugs

It may be winter, but you never know what may be hiding under the rocks and leaves to keep warm in the garden, or crawling up the fruit trees in the Walled Kitchen Garden. Watch out for creepy crawlies and see how many you can find and identify.

You could even spend a little longer with us and check out the Discovery Centre, where even more bugs and creepy crawlies await.
