Eating and drinking at Cragside
Break up your day's adventure with a visit to one of three food and beverage outlets around the estate. Stop by the visitor centre Tea-rooms for a hot breakfast or lunch, refuel hungry bellies with a sandwich from Crozier’s by the play area, and tuck into a slice of cake and coffee in the Still Room next to the house.
Open every day, 10am – 5pm, the tea-rooms serves a variety of hot and cold food and drinks.
Breakfast (served from 10-11.30am):
Choose from a bacon, sausage or egg sandwich, a cooked breakfast, porridge or toast and jam.
A selection of sandwiches, crisps and other snacks are available all day. Vegetarian options and children's lunchboxes are also available.
Hot lunches (served from 11.45am-3pm):
The hot lunch menu changes seasonally, inspired by the National Trust cook book featuring well-loved recipes inspired by our places. Vegetarian options available.
Freshly baked cakes and scones are on offer every day. Gluten-free options available.
Hot chocolate, tea and coffee will warm you up, juice and fizzy drinks will quench your thirst and a small selection of beer from Allendale brewery and wine are available if you fancy a treat.
The historic Still Room next to the house is open 10.30am-4pm every day and serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and cakes.
Our new food and beverage outlet is situated next to the adventure play area on the Carriage Drive. Crozier’s is open every weekend and also during the Northumberland school holidays. Open from 11am-4pm, it serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, scones and biscuits.
Please be aware that in our winter season (from November 2019) opening times will change and Crozier’s will close.
