Join us as at the Farmyard Cookery Theatre at BBC Countryfile Live this August 3-6, to see live demonstrations from some of the country’s best-loved chefs.

Pick up tips and hints from the experts on how to make the most of quality meat, seasonal fruit and veg, dairy and how to bake the perfect loaf and cakes.  Our chefs will be using some of the tasty environmentally sustainable food produced by some of our tenant farmers on our farmland – and you might even get to meet them too.

We're also really excited to be announcing our Fine Farm Produce Award winners for this year live at the event on Thursday 3 August.
Now in their 12th year, the awards recognise the best food and drink being produced on our farms and estates. From the best bread flour to the very best beef and craft beers.

ITV's Marcus Bean, Great British Bake Off's Holly Bell and the National Trust's very own developmental chef Clive Goudercourt will be demonstrating how to make the best of three simple ingredients - flour, yeast and water.

Helping you to get the most from the best cuts of meat will be the butcher mastermind of Hobbs House Bakery, Henry Herbert, ITV’s Marcus Bean and Alex MacKay, chef and cookery writer.

Sharing their tips on how to please all the family when it comes to dinner time will be Great British Bake Off finalist and author of Recipes from a Normal Mum, Holly Bell, cooking for kids specialist and writer Alex MacKay and National Trust Family Food Ambassador and cook book writer Claire Thompson with our very own Clive Goudercourt.

Demonstrating how you can make the most of seasonal foods will include TV chef and cookery book writer Sophie Grigson, macrobiotic nutritionist and chef Nicky Clinch and food blogger and cookery book writer, Ed Smith (Rocket & Squash).

No English summer afternoon is complete without tea and cakes. To help make sure your baking rises to the top of the class, we will be joined by experts including Holly Bell, Richard McGeown, Clive Goudercourt and author of the National Trust scone recipe book, Sarah Clelland.

Some of the tastiest, yet simplest dishes can be created with a range of dairy ingredients. Showcasing some of their favourites will be Sophie Grigson, Marcus Bean and health enthusiast and author of Fast Days and Feast Days Elly Curshen.

Every year we reward and celebrate the ingenuity of our best farmers and producers with the annual Fine Farm Produce Awards. This year's special guest will be presenting the prizes on our Cookery Theatre stage on Thursday 3 August at 5.45pm.
