Virtual tea party

Afternoon tea at Waddesdon Manor, a National Trust property in Buckinghamshire

Thank you to everyone who joined our virtual tea party to celebrate our 125th anniversary. Even though the main party has finished, you can continue to celebrate at any time with a cuppa and slice of cake. Take a look at the video below for a personal message from our Director-General, Hilary McGrady and our president, His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, who are taking a moment to say thank you for all your support.

We've achieved so much together in looking after nature, beauty and history, so lets celebrate this joyous occasion together.

Let's celebrate

Thank you for all your support and loyalty over the past 125 years. Please take a moment to watch this special message from our Director-General, Hilary McGrady and our president, His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, who also want to say a massive thank you.

Today, while we’re all staying safe at home, we’re celebrating all our members, volunteers, staff and supporters who’ve helped us to protect the places we all love so much over the past 125 years. You’ve helped strengthen the belief and vision of our founders, so future generations can continue to explore, experience and enjoy many of our nation’s most beautiful and precious landscapes and houses.

Thanks to you, we now look after over 780 miles of coast, 250,000 hectares of countryside and over 200 gardens for everyone to benefit and thrive from. Your support has also helped restore, rebuild and care for hundreds of remarkable houses and an extensive array of collections.

We appreciate your support more than ever as we work to ensure the places and nature we look after can continue to be enjoyed by everyone when it’s safe for us to be together again. Without you, all the work and conservation we do wouldn’t be possible.

" Every one of you makes an essential contribution to the Trust and one that enables it to provide what I expect we always yearn for - the tonic of the natural world."
- His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales

We couldn't do it without you
