What inspires you? Show us and you could win £100!

The New Year is a great time for trying new things, getting more active or planning new experiences. So, we’ve launched a competition to encourage people to share what inspires them about the special places we look after in the Midlands, with the chance to win one of five £100 vouchers, courtesy of our outdoor retail partner, Cotswold Outdoor.

The Midlands offers a huge variety of special landscapes and places to enjoy and explore, from National Parks to 'Capability' Brown landscapes, from the time-capsule home of a Worksop grocer (Mr Straw's House) to the grandeur of Hardwick Hall, or from the house that saved a King at Moseley Old Hall to the rock houses at Kinver or the wartime merchant bank at Upton House.

And don't forget Woolsthorpe Manor in Lincolnshire, where Isaac Newton got inspiration for his thoughts on gravity from the famous apple tree which still stands today.

To be in with a chance to win one of five £100 Cotswold Outdoor vouchers, all you have to do is take a photograph to show what inspires you at a National Trust place in the Midlands. This could be a favourite walk, maybe the view from a hilltop or through a window, or perhaps it's inspiration taken from nature, like carpets of snowdrops or gamboling spring lambs.

All entries must be submitted by social media, either via the National Trust Midlands Facebook page (www.facebook.com/NTMidlands), or Twitter account (www.twitter.com/@NTMidlands), using the hashtag #NTMidsInspire

The closing date for all entries is 11.59pm on Sunday 28 February 2016.
