After the success of last year's 'Wolf's Child' the Norfolk & Norwich Festival, in partnership with the National Trust, return to Felbrigg Hall with a completely new type of outdoor event.

The Hall will be decorated to celebrate the harvest with displays of fruit, vegetables and beautiful flower arrangements created by our team of volunteer flower arrangers. Fruit tasting will take place in the Old Kitchen on Wednesday from 2.30pm.

Conserving the pelmets at Felbrigg Hall

Ever wondered what's involved when it comes to conserving textiles such as curtains? This short film follows the 18 months conservation project of the pelmets and curtains that now hang in the Drawing Room at Felbrigg Hall. Over time the silk damask had become damaged by light and needed stabilising, new linings have been added, damaged wooden baubles replaced and the curtains cleaned.
