Leaving the estate

If you leave before 3pm, you will exit the usual way. However, after this time the main gate will be closed and we are asking visitors to leave via the Lion’s Mouth exit, which takes you onto the A148. This is a narrower road with low trees so please be aware of this if you are in a large vehicle such as a motorhome.

Staying safe

We've reduced the number of people we can welcome to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff, volunteers and local communities. To help keep everyone safe, please follow social distancing and govenment guidance when you visit. Look out for signs while you're here which will explain any changes to how you can access different parts of the site.

Dog walking at Sheringham

Dogs on leads are welcome here at Felbrigg, and we are currently asking dogs to remain on leads throughout the estate. This helps to ensure social distancing, and protect our wildlife. Dogs are not permitted in the formal gardens.

When you need to book

The gardens and estate at Felbrigg are open. The Hall is open Saturday to Wednesday (limited access). We've introduced advance booking to keep everyone safe and maintain social distancing. To avoid disappointment please book in advance, especially at busier times such as weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. However, where space is available on weekdays, pre-booking isn’t always necessary. Tickets are released each Friday and must be booked by 3pm before the day of your visit.
