Education and group visits

Whether you are looking to bring a group for a fun day out at the seaside, a walk in the woods or you would like a more structured educational visit Formby has it all.

Educational visits

We offer a range of guided sessions covering a wide variety of topics, many of which are directly linked to the National Curriculum. There are walks and activities that are suitable for groups at nursery age, through key stages 1 to 4 and up to higher education level. These sessions are all led by our trained guides. Formby group visits 2017 (PDF / 0.6611328125MB) download   provides more information on the guided walks and activities available, including prices.

As well as guided sessions we also offer structured independent activities for key stage 1 to 4 including bug hunting and orienteering. We provide resource kits for each of these activities and one of our trained guides will talk you through the activity before leaving you and your group to enjoy the activity independently. Formby group visits 2017 (PDF / 0.6611328125MB) download  provides more information on the independent activities available, including prices.
