Throughout the year, we welcome schools and groups from across the country, and with Christmas just around the corner we've got some festive fun on offer too.

If you've been tasked with finding a fun, Christmassy school trip for your class, book onto the Christmas trail with Gibside learning team.

Whether you're looking for a festive adventure for your school or have a choir and are looking for a venue to perform, look no further. We can even arrange for your class to meet with Father Christmas himself.

Every year, Mrs Claus adds some magic to the reindeer food so that Rudolph and his team can help Father Christmas to deliver all of the presents. Only this year, the magic food sacks fell of the sleigh here at Gibside while Mrs Claus collecting the present lists. Can you help us to find them all?

Bring your school to meet Father Christmas 

If your school is taking part in the Christmas trail, you can arrange to meet Father Christmas while you're here. Each pupil will receive a pre-Christmas treat.

Would your school choir like to perform at Gibside?

We know that children and teachers work really hard in the run up to Christmas, practicing and performing Christmassy songs. On 8, 15 and 22 December we’re looking for school choirs to perform from 6pm for 20-30mins in the market place. Teachers, parents and carers are invited to attend the performance for free and all children performing will receive a free hot chocolate.
