Bring your dog

A dog with his owners in the garden of Greenway, Devon

Dogs are welcome in the gardens at Greenway; Agatha Christie and her family were big dog lovers, and so are the team of staff and volunteers now.

Four-legged friendly

With woodland and walled gardens to explore with your four-legged friends, Greenway is a very dog-friendly place to visit. Although dogs can't go into the house, there is still plenty to keep them entertained. The Visitor Reception team always have a warm welcome and a dog treat waiting, and in the courtyard there are water bowls and tethering rings.

After a nice long walk around Greenway garden why not rest and enjoy the view?

Put your paws up

There is plenty of seating outside the Barn Gallery Café, much of which is under cover, so come rain or shine you and your pooch can enjoy lunch together.

Let's go walkies

If you're looking for a stroll in the garden, there's a moderate one-mile walk that enjoys spectacular views over Dartmouth, or just follow your feet and explore. Please remember to keep your dogs on leads in the garden, and pick up any mess they make. For a lengthier dog walk, why not combine your exploration of the garden with a local walk?
