We’ve got plenty on offer this Easter holiday to entertain the whole family. With trails and craft activities for the little ones, and garden tours and free flow access in the house for grown ups, everyone is guaranteed a great day out.

50 things trail

50 things to do before your 11 ¾ is a great way for children to explore the outdoors and learn through natural play. Children can enjoy den building, bug hunting and birdwatching to name but a few activities on the agenda this Easter break.

£2 per trail with a badge reward.

Make-a-kite craft activities 

Wander below stairs to find our kite making activity in the Education Room. Get creative and decorate your kite however you like and take it outside to tick off no. 7 on your 50 things list “fly a kite”.

Visiting inside the house

From April 1 visits inside the house are by free flow access. This means you can wander around our full compliment of rooms at your leisure. The house is open 12-4pm with last entry at 3.30pm. 

check at reception to see if there is baking or beer tasting below stairs. 

Garden history tours 

Explore Ham’s 17th century gardens by specialist guided tour. Tours run daily, check at reception for availability and times.

Architecture Tour 

Running at 1pm daily.
