In celebration of the hard working servants who lived at Ham House in the 17th Century you will be completing challenges that they would have had to do.

Challenge 1: Butter making

Can you shake the jam jar fast enough to churn cream into butter?

Challenge 2: Beer tasting

Parent's get to sip a 17th century recipe beer and together as a family you must taste and smell the ingredients in front of you and decide which ones were used to make this delicious brew.

Challenge 3: King Dad crown making

After all your hard work completing challenges, Dad's and guardians need a reward. Little ones can go to our Education Room below stairs to make their dads a crown beffitng a king.

Challenge 4: Tea-cup races

Races run at 1, 2 and 3pm on the lawn at the back of the house

The Duchess urgently needs her cup of tea and biscuit. Servant dads will join us for a race to get the cup of tea to the Duchess the fastest, picking up a biscuit on the way. The winner of each race will win a Dad's cream tea at our Cafe; a cream tea with a bottle of beer.
