Help make Hanbury’s Christmas happen!

It's Christmaaas! at Hanbury Hall

This Christmas, Hanbury Hall are turning back the clock to the 1970s and 80s. Can you help us find the must-have Christmas toys we all remember?

Do you have a favourite toy hidden away in the attic, or under the stairs? Would you lend it to Hanbury Hall to display throughout December?

Hanbury Hall is going retro this Christmas, complete with Babycham, tinsel, and all the Christmas number ones! We would love to display the top toys from the era and we need your help to source them.

We are looking for toys that were popular in the 1970s and 1980s to be displayed in Hanbury Hall through December. If you have photographs of you with the toys as a child, that would be even better! All toys would need to with us from the end of November and returned safely home in the New Year.

Toys we are hoping to find include:
Etch-a-sketch
Rubik's Cube
Magic 8 Ball
Simon Says electronic game
Game Boy
Care Bears
Sylvanian Families
Troll dolls
Cabbage Patch Kids
Barbie
My Little Pony
Chopper Bike and BMX
Transformers
Army men
Action Man
Toy cars
Pet Rock

So if you think you can help and would like to share your toys of Christmas past with all our visitors, please get in touch with Jack Moore, at jack.moore@nationaltrust.org.uk or call on 01527 821 214.
