Christmas at Hinton Ampner

This Christmas at Hinton Ampner we are introducing timed tickets for entry to the house in order to protect and conserve the house and make your visit more enjoyable. Please pre-book your tickets through our booking office in order to avoid disappointment.

In the meantime though, you can book tickets for our 2018 event - A Christmas Murder Mystery - here:

Saturday 1 - Monday 24 December

You are invited to the dinner party of the season.  Tragically, the evening has not gone to plan and a guest has been murdered.  It is up to you to help Inspector Grey discover the murderer by finding all the clues throughout the vintage dressed house and gardens.

All of Hinton Ampner's ground floor rooms are decorated, each one bringing to life a different suspect. Make sure you check in with Inspector Grey in his incident room to solve the murder mystery.

" One day the grandmother presented the little girl with a red velvet riding hood; and as it fitted her very well, she would never wear anything else; and so she was called Little Red Riding Hood."
- Brothers Grimm

Bring all the family

The magic will sweep through the whole estate, including a family trail to uncover the mystery of the missing Christmas pudding. Follow the clues to help Inspector Grey and his trusty dog Albert to catch the thief (£1 suggested donation).

The trail runs from Saturday 1 - Monday 31 December.
