Discover the limestone countryside of the southern Peak District, famed for its wildlife and geology on an easy walk to Dovedale valley. On the River Dove you might spot ducks, dippers, heron or brown trout.

The Stableyard Grab & Go is open from 10am - 4pm daily, serving takeaway drinks and snacks. We’ve introduced safety measures including screens at our till and collection points, and waymarked routes. We’ll also only be accepting card payment. We look forward to welcoming you and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone.

Protect the invisible: Take the lead
Much of Ilam Park and Dovedale is grazed by livestock that are owned by our tenant farmers. Dogs are always welcome, but please keep them on a lead to help us minimise disturbance to livestock and wildlife.
