Come out and play at Ilam this summer

Ilam Park is a great place for families and dog walkers. There are plenty of gentle riverside walks as well as opportunities for picnics, adventures and exploring. You can relax in our deckchairs and enjoy the far-reaching views across the Italian Gardens towards Dovedale or take part in any of our summer activities.

Come out and play

A wide range of sporting and play equipment will be available to borrow at Ilam for free this summer from 20 July to 4 September, so come back regularly and try something new.

There will also be things for little ones to do in The Oaks (behind the Manifold Tea-room).

Get Creative

If you are feeling creative, you can borrow art materials from the Stableyard Second-hand Bookshop. Let yourself be inspired by the landscape to draw, write or make music.

Look out for pop up art workshops for families in the gardens and parkland too.
