Crisp, cold days and ethereal light - the winter landscape can be an inspiring place to step out into. Whether it's a bit of a stroll or a heartier walk, Kedleston's series of guided walks over the festive season will get you out and about in the grounds and wider parkland.

Winter wonders walk with the rangers
2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 December, 1.30pm - 3pm, booking essential.
Guided by the rangers, discover what winter wonders the park at Kedleston has to offer. Finish of with a warming glass of mulled wine and some Christmas cake.  

Walk with a view with the Head Gardner
2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December, 9.30am - 12pm, booking essential
Approximately 1.5 miles, unfortunately not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. 
Join Kedleston's Head Gardener, Richard Marriott, for a hot drink and bacon roll before a walk around Kedleston's Pleasure Grounds. You'll hear more of the stories behind many of the often forgotten views around the property. 

Boxing Day Walk
26 December, 10.30am - 1pm
Bring the family, bring the dog and blow away those Christmas cobwebs, and walk of that Christmas pudding on this (approx) 3.5 mile walk. Then finish with a lovely warming bowl of soup and scone in the restaurant. 
£8.50, normal admission to the park applies.

Winter tree ID walk
20, 22, 29 December, 10.30am - 12pm
With members of the Kedleston team, enjoy a gentle stroll around the park and learn how to spot different trees when they are not in leaf.
