The Brewhouse at Knole

Avocado and bacon salad in a white bowl

The Brewhouse Café is the perfect place to sit and soak up Knole’s historic atmosphere over a drink and a bite to eat. An important part of the estate since the 17th century, it was the original site of the estate’s beer and ale production - beer and ale are still on offer, but we've added a range of snacks, hot meals and hot and cold drinks.

Opening times

Monday - Sunday 10am – 5pm (Mar-Oct)
Monday – Sunday: 10am-4pm (Nov-Feb)

Hot meals are served daily from 12pm-2.30pm and light lunches daily from 11.30am-3.30pm.

So, what's on offer?

The Brewhouse Café allows visitors the option of enjoying the full services of the main eatery or using the Grab & Go facility.

Offering a range of snacks, ice creams, hot and cold drinks, the Grab & Go is ideal for visitors who want a quick bite to take away. The main eatery serves a seasonal menu of hot dishes, as well as indulgent cream teas.

Relax on the rooftop terrace

With more than 1,000 acres of parkland and home to a wild deer herd, Knole’s estate offers many beautiful views. One of the best vistas can be enjoyed from the Brewhouse Café’s rooftop terrace, where you can take in the views while enjoying a leisurely lunch or simply sit and watch the deer go by with a glass of your favourite beverage.
