Shopping in Lacock
It's time for snuggling up in soft woollen blankets, feasting on nibbles and treats and planning the garden. We have everything you need, from sumptuous cushions and throws to beautiful ceramics and baskets.
It's through your purchases that we're able to look after Lacock for ever, for everyone.
There's so much to discover in both the Abbey and the village.
High Street shop
In our High Street shop we have a wide range of gifts, books and cards, home and garden accessories and souvenirs.
We also have a range of locally made products, so you can take a little bit of Wiltshire home with you.
Fox Talbot Museum shop
The shop in the museum is a great place to pick up a souvenir of your day out in Lacock, whether it be plants and garden products or books relating to photography and William Henry Fox Talbot.
Our second-hand bookshop in the Abbey courtyard has a variety of books.
Every time you buy a book here you support important conservation projects at the Abbey, such as the collection of nineteenth century watercolours painted by the Fox Talbot family.
The bookshop is run by our volunteers. We try our best to open it every day but cannot guarantee it.
Lacock village shops
The four main streets that make up the village of Lacock are full of independent shops. Children will love the pocket money toys and Harry Potter souvenirs, while you'll also find a range of classic, beautiful items from local gin to hand-crafted candles to fine jewellery. Buy a gift for others but you might be tempted by something for yourself!
