Shopping in Lacock
For the early wakers and once-a-year bakers, the ribbon tiers, the white liars and mince piers who light the fires. For every Boxing Day walker and late-night talker, each wreath maker, bowl breaker, wine muller and afternoon luller. For all the flour sifters, tree lifters, do-their-shifters, and those who know-they'll-love-this gifters. For everyone who makes Christmas, Christmas. We are here for you this December.

High Street shop
In our High Street shop we have a wide range of gifts, books and cards, Lacock books and souvenirs. We also have a range of locally made products, so you can take a little bit of Wiltshire home with you.
Fox Talbot Museum shop
The shop in the museum is a great place to pick up a souvenir of your day out in Lacock, including plants and garden products.
You can also find copies of 'Capturing the Light', written by Fox Talbot Museum curator, Roger Watson. A fascinating insight into the life of William Henry Fox Talbot and Louis Daguerre, and their race to invent photography.
Our second-hand bookshop in the abbey courtyard has a variety of books.
Every time you buy a book here you support important conservation projects at the abbey. The money we raised last year made it possible for us to restore two of our rare harps.
The bookshop is run by our volunteers, we try our best to open it every day - but cannot guarantee it. Please note, the second hand bookshop will be closed in the wintertime.
Lacock village shops
The village of Lacock is full of local shops offering wide range of products and gifts.
When you've visited the abbey, why not take the time to stroll around the village and see what you can find?
