Shopping in Lacock
It's time for dining al fresco, pottering in the garden and gentle country walks - and we have everything you need. From sumptuous cushions and throws to beautiful ceramics and baskets, gardening essentials, scarves and bags, all inspired by nature.
Fresh for summer, our Grasslands collection brings the rare beauty of meadows to your home. A habitat for bees and butterflies, today only 3% of the meadows that existed in the 1930s still remain. This new collection is a celebration of one of our most precious natural resources.
High Street shop
In our High Street shop we have a wide range of gifts, books and cards, home and garden accessories and souvenirs. We also have a range of locally made products, so you can take a little bit of Wiltshire home with you.
Fox Talbot Museum shop
The shop in the museum is a great place to pick up a souvenir of your day out in Lacock, plants and garden products, or perhaps some Harry Potter merchandise and pocket money toys.
You can also find copies of 'Capturing the Light', written by Fox Talbot Museum curator, Roger Watson and historian Helen Rappaport. A fascinating insight into the life of William Henry Fox Talbot and Louis Daguerre, and their race to invent photography.
Our second-hand bookshop in the abbey courtyard has a variety of books.
Every time you buy a book here you support important conservation projects at the abbey. The money made from sales last year went to conserve mainly the watercolour collection, hundreds of thousands of pounds are needed and the bookshop made a great amount towards this.
The bookshop is run by our volunteers, we try our best to open it every day - but cannot guarantee it.
